2nd Place win in the Enterprise Challenge!

Why Gallivant?

I love to travel and explore new places, as well as new foods and flavors. My chocolate inspirations come from my travels as well as the local bounty that I am surrounded by here in Kittitas County and Pacific Northwest.

I have always enjoyed cooking and creating in the kitchen, particularly breads and sweet treats. Many years ago I spent a year living in Europe, much of which I spent discovering and devouring fine dark chocolate. Now, many years after that unforgettable experience, I still seek-out and devour fine dark chocolate. So, after 11 years of being a full-time stay -at-home mom, I decided to combine my interests in cooking, travel, and chocolate and enrolled in a chocolatier program through Ecole Chocolate. I quickly became obsessed with working with fine chocolate and further explored the idea of starting a business through our local Enterprise Challenge. A second place win with a generous prize and much encouragement nudged me to ‘go for it’, and I founded Gallivant Chocolate Company.
